What was most surprising or most impactful about Sunday’s lesson on the Kingdom message?

What were the four marks of any human kingdom?

How does each of these apply to God’s divine kingdom?

Do you see Jesus as more of a king who rules or a savior who blesses?

· Why does this matter in any practical way?

Robert said that the apostles and our (all people really) hope was dependent on a king, that he had been his own king for much of his life, and that he had a fool for a king. Do you allow Jesus to be king consistently or do you kick him off the thrown when you want something or disagree with his edicts (commands)?

· Give examples of areas that tempt you to kick Jesus off the throne.

Jesus told us to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness” and told us to pray “your kingdom come; your will be done” (Matthew 6;33) What logical sequence do you find in this command from King Jesus?

“The gospel “good news of the kingdom” was Jesus, the apostles, and Acts church gospel. What are the practical implications for you and me?

Why does having hope in any other gospel and anyone other than King Jesus put us at risk?
