Faithful - Living What I Cannot See

When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you?

Am I obeying God fully, or just selectively?

By faith Enoch… was commended as one who pleased God.

3. Act upon God’s Word before I see what’s next. (Noah)

By faith Noah… built an ark… about things not yet seen…

4. Step out even when I don’t know where God is taking me. (Abraham)

By faith Abraham… obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

5. Trust God’s promises even when it takes time. (Sarah)

By faith even Sarah… considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope… for he who promised is faithful.

Where am I tempted to give up because it’s taking too long?

6. Choose eternal rewards over temporary pleasure & comfort. (Moses)

By faith Moses… chose to be mistreated… rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.

What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
